Topic information: Recent advances in the medical management of paediatric neuromuscular conditions have significantly improved outcomes for children, while also introducing new complexities in their clinical care. This session will provide an overview of common paediatric neuromuscular disorders, their typical clinical presentations, and emerging developments in medical management. It will also explore the implications of these advances for physiotherapy practice and discuss the evolving challenges associated with the management of children with complex neuromuscular conditions.
