Topic information:
Navigating everyday therapeutic interactions with children experiencing chronic pain, and their parents, and why this is important to have on your radar as a health professional! We will discuss paediatric chronic pain in the context of providing healthcare to children with disabilities, new evidence regarding the importance of nurturing therapeutic relationships, and everyday actionable steps you can implement as a health professional. This session will be interactive, with the aim to empower health professionals working with a range of children experiencing chronic pain, across community and tertiary settings.
