Oceania Connect
Building Stronger Links for Better Care
Cerebral palsy and other childhood-onset disabilities require coordinated, multidisciplinary care. Across Oceania, professionals working in this field may face isolation, limited resources, and fragmented networks.
The Oceania Academy of Cerebral Palsy and other Childhood-Onset Disabilities is now piloting Oceania Connect, a program designed to link health professionals and researchers across the region to strengthen care for children and families in Oceania.
Academy members can request short-term connections tailored to their needs, such as:
- Connecting with other members experienced in a specific condition or intervention
- Peer support for early-career professionals
- Exploring remote practice as a career option
- Getting research advice on writing up a project or grant opportunities
Linked participants set their own expectations together—whether it’s a single online meeting, a month of weekly check-ins, or a few sessions over six months. Each connection will be time limited and at the discretion of the partners.
Are you ready to connect?
Our role is to help connect you to the best person/people for your request.
